This site was last Created: May 2023 As I have spent many years taking photos around Nottingham, there are always photos that do not fit into a specific project or event. Even reviewing some of the old photos can produce information that did not seem relivent at the time. The photos below are random and follow no specific order, they are just presented as they are. If and when I find more photos I will add them to this page. _____________________________________________________________

While there I took a few photos around the centre. _____________________________________________________________

If you think technology is expensive today, just look at the price for a 12 inch TV (£287, that would be over £1000 today ( 2018 ) ) Taken in the 1977. _____________________________________________________________

Remember when the Coop used to put this inflatable Santa on its roof? A mate of mines company had hired the top floor / cocktail bar of the Royal Hotel ( now called the Crowne Plaza ) which was opposite the Coop. He was giving a presentation to Senior Managers at the company. The issue was the Managers were looking at the screen behind my mate with their backs to the windows, but my mate was looking out the window towards the inflatable Santa. Every so often the Santa would start to move in the wind and appear to dance and wave at my mate. He still does not know how he finished the presentation without cracking up. Anyone remember the light display outside the Royal Concert Hall. I seem to remember it was described as a Kinetic light sculpture, to me it looked like the reject pile at a Neon sign factory.
