This is a site that displays photographs taken by Steve Fisher of Nottingham.
Most of the pages are based around Photo Galleries.
All photographs on this site are the copyright of Steve Fisher.
The images on this site are reduced in size and quality to reduce download time.
The images were taken at Junktion 7,
Nottingham (www.junktion7.co.uk)
Junkton7 is closed, see the New years eve photos (updates and more old photos to follow).)
It is a deliberate choice to keep this home page simple and mostly text based, as many of the other
pages on this site contain a significant number of images that can (depending on your connection speed)
take time to download.
Reviewing my archive has found several events, I am working to publish these old photos as soon as I can. This may be delayed by software issues.
It appears current software has issues ( colour balance, noise, strange colour inconsistencies ) with old RAW photos, its taking time to process each event.
Pop back regularly to check for updates.
After trying to get good images from the really early digital photos its obvious that the technology in the early Digital cameras was not that good. They only really worked at low ISO( under 400 ) and just biased towards daylight
and did not like stage lighting. The JPG processing was very aggressive and caused problems with colour correction. The dynamic range at higher ISO's is terrible and the auto-focus on these early cameras was awful in low light.
So what you see is what you get.
